Douglas C. Huffer, President/GM

doug groundbreakingDoug serves as Recleim’s President and General Manager. In this role, he is responsible for strategic planning and for overseeing all aspects of the Company’s operations. Doug brings to Recleim over 30 years of executive management experience in the soft drink vending and appliance industries.

Doug is a former President of Maytag Commercial Products, a role in which he oversaw $500 million in annual sales and operations at manufacturing facilities in three states.  He is also a former President of Dixie Narco, the most global business in the Maytag/Whirlpool family of companies.   At Dixie Narco, Doug oversaw revenues of over $300 million, sales in over 70 countries, and an employee base of over 1,500.  Most recently, Doug was the founder and CEO of Prestige Appliance, a multi-store retailer based in Aiken County.


Bobby Robinson, Director of Plant Operations

As Director of Plant Operations, Bobby is directly overseeing the development of Recleim’s new flagship facility in Graniteville, South Carolina, and oversees the day-to-day operation of that facility.

Bobby brings extensive plant management experience to Recleim, most recently as Fabrication Manager for a major international manufacturer of soft drink vending machines.   In that role, Bobby oversaw a department of approximately 200 employees, and was responsible for operations ranging from sheet metal processing to foaming and welding, to shipping and receiving.   He possesses numerous industrial certifications, including Six Sigma Greenbelt, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, 3P (Process and Product), MRS Certification, Value Stream Linkage, and Inventory Control.


Jim Mathis, Director of Quality

Jim MathisAs Director of Quality, Jim is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of Recleim’s quality management systems are established, implemented, and maintained.

Jim comes to Recleim with over fifteen years experience in the areas of quality management, regulatory compliance, and design engineering.  Most recently, he served as Manager of Regulatory Compliance and Design Evaluation at Crane Merchandising Systems, where he was responsible for coordinating regulatory compliance and for reviewing design changes to ensure compliance with all relevant standards.  Jim holds numerous professional affiliations, including being a Committee Member of ASHRAE 32.1, a member of the UL’s Joint Task Group on Flammable Refrigerants, a key contributor to the EPA’s Energy Star Regulation development, and a key contributor to the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Conservation Standards for Beverage Vending Machines.


Shannon S. Matlock, Director of Human Resources

As Recleim’s Director of Human Resources, Shannon is responsible for recruiting and hiring Recleim’s growing team of associates, as well as for overseeing training, staffing, and personnel matters at Recleim’s Graniteville facility.  Shannon brings over fifteen years of human resources experience to this position, including extensive experience with recruitment and personnel placement; development and implementation of wage and salary structures; training; development and implementation of safety and security plans; benefits administration; workers’ compensation administration; and many other aspects of human resources management.  Most recently, Shannon served as Director of Human Resources for five North American facilities of Asco Numatics, a leading manufacturer of solenoid valves and other fluid automation products.

Shannon holds a Bachelor’s of Business Management and an M.S. in Human Resources Management.


Kathryn J. Owens, Customer Service Manager

As Recleim’s Customer Service Manager, Kathryn is dedicated to ensuring top-quality, customized service for each of Recleim’s clients.  Kathryn comes to Recleim with extensive experience in customer service, account management, and sales across multiple industries, including experience managing international accounts; coordinating customer needs across departments of large companies; managing and resolving inquiries and issues as they arise; managing shipping needs; and developing and improving business processes to better meet customers’ needs.

Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Columbia Southern University, and has participated in extensive training in both human resources and Lean Sigma.
